Lost in the big world

Here I am, in the midst of nothing,
Lost in a world, full of suffering

I still don't understand how it works,
I am trapped in a place of jerks..

I search for the little girl in me,
who used to live her life care-free!

Who had a belief that dreams come true
.. that fairy tales are real and
miracles happen to humans too...

Who would think Truth, Honesty, Love always win over Evil,
 ...that Bravery and Strength kill the devils..





Little did I know they are out there in this big real world
Snatching my happiness,
making me cry.
Looking at this state,
the little girl inside me slowly die!

So I wish to go back to my little self,
where I can find solace,
roll back in her peaceful protective shell...
